Last Meeting: Wednesday May 30th A recap of the Microsoft Management Summit. All the new System Center 2012 products will be covered.

In this session, we’ll cover the major new features in Windows Server 8, including Hyper-V scalability and availability improvements, key changes in the management interfaces, and how Windows Server 8 enables Private Cloud solutions.  New features will be discussed and demonstrated to show applicability to specific business needs.  We’ll also recap major System Center announcements recently made at the Microsoft Management Summit, held in April in Las Vegas.  We’ll overview key information from the event, and walk through some of the new System Center technologies as well.

About SEA-TUG
 Founded in 2001, SEA-TUG is a technical user group (ie: for System Admins/IT Consultants, not home users) meeting once a month on topics relating to IT Infrastructure, Hardware, Software, Security, Patches, Deployment, etc. We are a registered GITCA user group.  There is no cost to attend Sea-Tug meetings. 

We follow the popular User-Group format: a technical presentation followed by a technical/sales presentation (when appropriate).  We're similar to some of the more successful user groups such as the Boston Area Windows Server User Group, only without the two-hour drive back and forth to Waltham.  

The mailing list is now automated; Just send an email to caretaker@sea-tug.com with 'subscribe' or 'remove' in the subject line to be added to or removed from the mailing list.  You will not be added to a spam list or have your information sold or given to anyone else, including presenters.  JOIN LIST -or- REMOVE FROM LIST
