Meeting Re-caps for 2011 July 27, 2011 at 6:00pmDisaster Recovery is a topic that has become more and more important in recent years. We have lived through two consecutive hundred-year floods and the worst state-wide weather emergency/power outage in the area's history. All of these factors, coupled with some of the most challenging economic times most of us have experienced, make Disaster Recovery Planning more important than ever. The aim is to offer some tips and best practices to consider when establishing or updating your Disaster Recovery Plan. Presented by Marc Berthiaume - Security and Compliance at Newmarket International See/download the slide decks for the introduction and the main presentation. June 9, 2011 at 6:00pmThis month's meeting will focus on assembling an effective plan for utilizing a cloud infrastructure and will compare the differences of running your own data center and leveraging a service provider. Roger McIlmoyle, Solution Architect at SunGard will be presenting. Click to download the SEA-TUG deck or the SunGard deck. April 19th Meeting Recap The April meeting will cover a range of security topics about how to keep your organization secure including SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc. The presentation will include a demo of the Nitro Security products.
