| Meeting Re-caps for 2004 December 2004 Meeting Re-Cap Foedus Group from Portsmouth provided an excellent presentation on virtual servers (focusing on vmWare). A lively discussion accompanied. We'd like to bring back their engineering team for a whiteboard session and live demo. Also, William Young from SourceFire (the guys who make Snort) educated us on Intrusion Prevention and some of the cool new tools out there in the security world. We're waiting for copies of the presentations and will post them as soon as they arrive. November Meeting Re-Cap The November meeting was held on Wednesday the 10th. Bob Rochford gave a brief demonstration on using ASP.NET to integrate SQL Queries in web pages. Following that, Geoff Noel from SAS presented an overview of what SQL is, where it came from, and reviewed schemas and tables. A discussion was held regarding how to make joins based on a schema. Chris Poulin from Firetower/CBE presented some great information on securing networks and their data. A hands-on demonstration was presented after the meeting.
